We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled
Desktop Support Engineer
to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting users with hardware, software, and networking issues to ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktop and laptop users
Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or macOS systems
Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, printers, and networks
Support Office 365 applications, email setup, and mobile device management
Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory
Log and track all support requests using a ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow, Zendesk)
Assist in onboarding/offboarding of users including device provisioning
Maintain IT inventory and update documentation regularly
Collaborate with other IT teams on escalations and infrastructure projects
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: R1250,00 - R1350,00 per day
Work Location: On the road
