Clear understanding / knowledge/ experience of dental practice operations includes the clinical knowledge of Dental treatments.
Complete computer literacy that extends to excel spreadsheet knowledge, dealing with correspondence, patient accounts, & quotations.
Handle daily financial transactions
Facilitate accurate and thorough treatment planning.
Dental Program knowledge (an advantage the knowledge of GOODX program in use)
Hrs of expected attendance per week 43
Salary -- can be above as stipulated (open to discuss to the suitable candidate)
Patient Experience
Practice Operations
Oversee cleaning staff to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard
before operations begin.
Ensure proper functioning of practice management software and troubleshoot minor
issues.
Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance, keeping detailed
records and placing timely orders.
Coordinate timely arrival and pick-up of laboratory work to support treatment
schedules.
Create and maintain office documents (e.g., templates, logs, spreadsheets) to improve
workflow and consistency.
Continuously evaluate and improve workflows to enhance overall office efficiency
Financial Administration
Generate and dispatch patient invoices, processing both insurance and private claims.
Processing payments.
Familiarize yourself with medical aid protocols to ensure patients understand cover,
avoid unpaid walkouts, and confirm benefits.
Manage Petty Cash
Submit the practice's daily invoices to the Accounts Department for processing and
assist with the preparation of month-end reports and manage any account enquiries.
Treatment Coordination
