Job Description

  • Minimum 12 years experience as a Demi Chef in 4 or 5-star hotel kitchens
  • Culinary qualification advantageous
  • Knowledge of multiple cooking techniques and station management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must hold a valid South African ID
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist senior chefs in daily food preparation
  • Ensure consistency, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety compliance
  • Monitor stock levels and ingredient freshness
  • Support banquets, events, and special projects
  • Contribute to recipe development and menu innovation
