Job Description
- Minimum 12 years experience as a Demi Chef in 4 or 5-star hotel kitchens
- Culinary qualification advantageous
- Knowledge of multiple cooking techniques and station management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must hold a valid South African ID
- Assist senior chefs in daily food preparation
- Ensure consistency, portion control, and presentation standards
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety compliance
- Monitor stock levels and ingredient freshness
- Support banquets, events, and special projects
- Contribute to recipe development and menu innovation
