Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced L2 technician to join our Data Center, Facilities, and Hosting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational integrity of the data center, including the maintenance of facilities, and providing hosting support to our clients. This role requires a strong technical background in data center operations, facilities management, and hosting environments (including cloud platforms like Azure).

Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of data center facilities, including power, cooling, and security systems. Install, configure, and maintain server and network hardware. Provide L2 support for hosting services, including server provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting. Support cloud hosting environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. Monitor the data center environment and respond to alerts and incidents. Assist with capacity planning for space, power, and cooling. Create and maintain documentation for data center procedures and hosting configurations. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of the data center and hosting services.
Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in a data center operations or facilities support role. Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and cabling. Experience with server hardware and network equipment. Experience with hosting environments and virtualization technologies. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, is highly desirable. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills.
