Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Team Lead Data Center to oversee our client's data center operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the data center team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the data center facilities, and maintaining the highest standards of security and availability. This role requires a strong technical background in data center technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the data center team, providing technical guidance, training, and performance management.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all data center equipment.

Ensure the physical security of the data center and adherence to all security policies and procedures.

Manage data center capacity, including space, power, and cooling, to meet current and future business needs.

Plan and coordinate all data center activities, including installations, decommissions, and maintenance windows.

Develop and maintain data center documentation, including policies, procedures, and asset inventory.

Manage relationships with data center vendors and service providers.

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.

Provide regular reports on data center performance and availability to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Center Team Lead or in a similar senior data center operations role.

Strong technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and cabling systems.

Experience with data center monitoring and management tools.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
