Cyber Security Specialist

Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
- Review and implement access requests and manage firewall policies.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents.
- Support IT and DevOps teams in maintaining security compliance.
- Develop, review, and update security policies and procedures.
- Configure and maintain security tools, including WAF, firewalls, and Zero Trust solutions.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and compliance.
- Experience with firewall management and access control.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM tools, and cloud security.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Understanding of network protocols, encryption, and IAM.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., POPI).
- Familiarity with risk management practices and security controls.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
