Review and implement access requests and manage firewall policies.
Respond to and investigate security incidents.
Support IT and DevOps teams in maintaining security compliance.
Develop, review, and update security policies and procedures.
Configure and maintain security tools, including WAF, firewalls, and Zero Trust solutions.
Experience & Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security.
Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and compliance.
Experience with firewall management and access control.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM tools, and cloud security.
Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
Understanding of network protocols, encryption, and IAM.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., POPI).
Familiarity with risk management practices and security controls.
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
