Client Services & Operations Support Officer
Asset Loans & Vehicle Finance | Full-Time | Cape Town
Summary
Looking for a detail-oriented Client Services & Operations Support Officer to support asset-backed lending and vehicle finance operations. This role combines client interaction, collections, and hands-on operational support in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Collections
Manage inbound and outbound communication with clients regarding asset loan and vehicle finance facilities.
Conduct collections activities, including payment follow-ups, arrears management, and resolution of client queries.
Maintain professional, compliant, and clear communication at all times.
Identify and escalate delinquent accounts and potential risk issues where required.
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and collection activities.
Operations & Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to the Vehicle Finance function, including:
Vehicle licensing and registration coordination
Monitoring and administration of vehicle insurance
Tracking and monitoring financed vehicles
Assisting with onboarding and ongoing administration of financed assets
Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and easily retrievable.
Support internal reporting relating to collections, vehicle status, and operational metrics.
Assist with ad hoc operational tasks and reporting as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, controls, and overall client experience.
Qualifications / Requirements
Strong client service orientation with a firm but professional approach to collections.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail with strong organisational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable handling sensitive financial conversations with clients.
Reliable, accountable, and able to work independently while supporting a wider team.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Preferred Skills / Experience
Experience in collections, client services, finance administration, or vehicle finance.
Familiarity with vehicle licensing, insurance processes, or asset-backed lending.
Experience working with CRM systems or loan administration platforms.
Exposure to operational reporting and process improvement initiatives.
