Our client, a high-end, wellness-inspired and focussed hospitality operation located in the Franschhoek area, is urgently seeking a passionate and disciplined Chef de Partie to join their farm-to-table kitchen team. This opportunity is ideally suited to a chef who is deeply interested in health, nourishment, seasonal produce and mindful cooking, and who values quality over quantity.
Salary: R15 000 - R18 000 Urgent Appointment

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for running a designated section while contributing to the preparation of nutrient-dense, thoughtfully executed dishes. The kitchen philosophy centres around fresh, seasonal and farm-led ingredients, prepared in a way that supports balance, wellbeing and flavour. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, consistency and a calm approach to service.
Working closely with senior kitchen leadership, the successful candidate will support daily operations, uphold food safety standards and ensure that every plate reflects the kitchen's commitment to simplicity, integrity and excellence. This role suits a chef who understands the connection between food, wellbeing and the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities

  • Run and manage your assigned kitchen section during service
  • Prepare and present dishes to consistently high standards
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and HACCP compliance
  • Assist with mise en place, stock control and kitchen organisation
  • Support menus aligned with wellness, nourishment and seasonality
  • Work collaboratively within a focused and professional kitchen team

Minimum Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie

  • Organised, reliable and passionate about food quality
