Job Summary

Consolidation Manager: Support, Develop and Enhance the existing BPC Application: Western Cape

The successful candidate will take responsibility to provide, support, develop and enhance the existing BPC application.

Key Performance Areas:

• Produce statutory financial information.
• Produce a set of financial reports and supporting schedules accurately and timeously to determine:
• the performance of the companies (profit and loss)
• produce a set of accurate reconciled balance sheets on time in full
• ensure statutory compliance with the Receiver of Revenue requirements as required by specific country
• Financial governance, internal controls, and risk mitigation
• Implement, maintain and assess key financial controls:
• Analyze and check creditor and debtor age analysis and provide feedback to action payment
• Drafting of annual financial statements
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigating measures:
• Build effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Professional communication, behavior and actions result in a high level of credibility, trust and respect with internal work partners
• Build effective relations with internal and external work partners to adhere to service level agreements where applicable:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes
• Implement new ideas and improve methods, systems and work processes that will lead to cost efficiency and speed of reporting
• Stay abreast of current developments in relevant expertise

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant Financial qualification CA (SA)
• 5 years relevant FMCG experience
