Must have Matric / Grade 12; Business Management, Food Technology, Food Science, or Consumer Science qualifications would be advantageous
Minimum 5 years' experience in portfolio management and development
Previous experience in juice concentrates is highly advantageous
Extensive beverage experience would be preferred
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Actively marketing and selling the fruit juice blends, commodities, bakery, and meat portfolio to current and new customers in Zambia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Growing the customer base and increasing market share in relevant portfolios and geographies.
Identifying and rolling out new products in assigned portfolios.
Actively marketing, selling, and growing ingredients to all new customers and markets.
Managing product introduction, new product development, customer satisfaction and centricity, and negotiating supply agreements in both local and international markets.
Maintaining knowledge of products, customers, and competitors.
Managing suppliers and products in the bakery and meat ingredients categories.
Being responsible for budgets and forecasts as well as driving project pipelines.
Minimizing working capital.
Managing sales targets and monitoring the impact of exchange rates on profitability.
Maintaining multi-level relationships with key customers and conducting regular visits.
Preparing annual sales budgets and monthly sales reports.
Providing timely reports and information as required by management.
Maintaining all Zero Harm principles across areas of responsibility.
