Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our client and drive growth in their warehousing and distribution department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the warehousing and distribution industry.Responsibilities:Generate new leads consistently to support business development goals.Analyze data to inform strategy and decision-making processes.Formulate business cases to support new opportunities and initiatives.Ensure strict adherence to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) compliance standards.Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, and confidence in task execution.Submit monthly lead generation updates to Head of Department (HOD) and/or Senior Management.Prepare and present quarterly and annual performance reports to the HOD.Maintain and update sales pipeline reports to reflect current progress.Accept supervision from immediate manager when required, ensuring alignment with expectations.Meet targets aligned with the company's growth plan and provide regular project status updates.Measure targets against budgeted expenses and monitor market trends through intelligence reports.Requirements:BCom in Logistics or an equivalent qualification.Hold a valid driver's license.Bring 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within the supply chain solutions environment.Demonstrate extensive knowledge and proven experience in new business development.Skilled in identifying opportunities and initiating innovative, value-driven solutions.Capable of designing solutions that enhance the value chain from post-production to final delivery execution.Benefits:- Competitive salary and benefits structure
