Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in trade finance with a focus on SME lending.

• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Strong understanding of commercial lending products and the SME funding landscape (advantageous)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).

Role Overview
The successful candidate will be

• identifying, engaging, and securing new SME clients for our commercial lending products.
• developing new business opportunities,
• building strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and acquire new SME clients through strategic outreach and
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads across various
• Promote commercial lending solutions, including working capital loans, asset finance, invoice finance, and revolving credit facilities.

• Conduct needs analysis and tailor funding solutions to meet client
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, financial advisors, brokers, and referral partners.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
• Provide market feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with internal credit and underwriting teams to ensure smooth deal execution
