Job Title:

Business Development Manager - Stationery Items

Experience Required:

Minimum

5 years of progressively responsible experience

in the

stationery industry

(pens, pencils, papers, notebooks, or related products).

Only candidates with stationery-specific experience will be considered.

Education:

MBA in Marketing or equivalent

Role Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth across the

Middle East & Africa region

. This includes identifying new market opportunities, expanding into

South Africa as well as other African countries

, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting revenue diversification initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify new product, market, and partnership opportunities within the MEA region. Build and manage strong relationships with regional partners, distributors, and clients. Develop and implement lead generation and sales growth strategies tailored to the stationery sector. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Collaborate with internal teams for product development and market alignment. Create and present impactful business proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. Manage business development budgets and ensure ROI. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as needed.

Requirements:

Proven expertise in the

stationery industry

(mandatory). Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship management. Ability to conduct in-depth market research and data analysis. Familiarity with the

MEA region

(experience in South Africa and/or other African markets is an advantage).
Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: R117388,00 - R164343,00 per month
