Role Overview



We are seeking a proactive and strategic

Business Development Manager

to lead our growth initiatives. In this role, you will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, develop proposals, and drive revenue growth.

You will work closely with internal teams to position our offerings, manage sales pipelines, and ensure that every new engagement is aligned with our company vision. This role requires strong communication, organisation, and the ability to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities



Business Development & Growth Strategy



Identify and research new market opportunities. Build and implement strategies to strengthen the company's footprint. Analyse industry trends, competitors, and client needs to support planning.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Building



Engage potential clients through outreach, meetings, and presentations. Build long-term, professional relationships with key decision-makers. Conduct discovery sessions to understand client requirements, challenges, and objectives.

Proposal & Project Scoping



Prepare structured proposals, feasibility outlines, and project scopes. Work with internal teams to define deliverables, timelines, and resource needs. Ensure proposals clearly communicate value, outcomes, and implementation steps.

Pipeline & Reporting



Manage a pipeline of upcoming and active projects Track progress from initial contact ? proposal ? project initiation. Maintain project documentation, timelines, and client communication logs.

Internal Collaboration & Coordination



Work with marketing for outreach, materials, and stakeholder engagement. Ensure smooth handovers from business development to project teams. Support risk identification and planning for new client projects.

Requirements



3-5+ years

experience in business development, or related fields. Strong understanding of project scoping, documentation, and client engagement. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience with CRM, project management, or workflow tools (Jira, Asana, etc). Proactive, self-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
