Business Development Manager



MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB



A New Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities for a company, including securing new clients, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding market reach, all while fostering strong client relationships and contributing to overall revenue growth. This role requires a blend of sales, marketing, and strategic planning skills, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION



Bachelor's Degree

(business administration, marketing, or finance, along with several years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development)

Master of Business Administration (MBA)



KPA'S OR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



Identifying New Opportunities: Analyzing market trends, identifying potential clients and strategic partners, and researching new market opportunities to drive growth.

Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients and proactively addressing their needs.

Strategy Development and Execution: Developing and implementing business development strategies to achieve company goals, including sales projections and revenue forecasting.

Sales and Marketing: Creating sales pitches, leading business development efforts, and coordinating with sales and marketing teams to improve revenue and brand recognition.

Financial Acumen: Utilizing financial techniques to improve sales revenue and tracking business-related invoices.

Team Leadership: Training and mentoring sales professionals to enhance their skills and performance.

Experience



Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and present ideas persuasively.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to analyze market challenges, propose solutions, and implement them effectively.

Business Acumen: Understanding of marketing principles, business management, and industry trends.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and market research tools.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
