We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to rapidly expand our footprint in South Africa by securing strategic partnerships with installation companies.

The Role: Driving Strategic Partner Growth

You will be the face of Mynet Security in the South African market, responsible for identifying, recruiting, and nurturing partnerships with security installation companies. Your primary objective is to drive aggressive growth in our network of monitored endpoints and service uptake.

This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong relationship-building capabilities, and a commercial understanding of the B2B security sector.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Acquisition:

Identify, prospect, and secure new long-term partnerships with leading security installation companies across all major regions in South Africa.

Sales Cycle Management:

Manage the entire business development pipeline, from initial lead generation and qualification through to presentation, negotiation, contract signing, and initial onboarding.

Strategic Growth:

Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Development strategy, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and setting aggressive targets for partner enrolment.

Sales Enablement:

Create and deliver compelling sales materials and training to empower our new partners to effectively sell our white-labelled monitoring services to their end-users.

Key Account Management:

Maintain strong relationships with high-value partners to ensure high satisfaction, maximize service utilization, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Reporting:

Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics, pipeline health, and revenue forecasting to the senior leadership team.
Skills and Qualifications

Proven track record (5+ years) in a

Business Development, Channel Sales, or Partner Acquisition

role within the security, technology, or B2B service sectors in South Africa. Deep understanding of the South African security landscape, particularly the roles of installers, alarm monitoring, and armed response services. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with a demonstrable ability to close complex B2B deals. Commercial acumen to structure mutually beneficial partnership agreements and understand revenue models (e.g., recurring monthly revenue). High level of self-motivation, ability to work independently, and proven success in meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
