Business Development Manager

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities Research and identify key prospects in new or existing markets based on the assigned sectors
- Manage business development pipeline, generate leads, and cold call prospective clients
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization and extract value
- Meet with customers in person or over video conferencing
- Foster and develop relationships with customers
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively
- Manage clients, address any on-going needs, and draw up contracts - depending on the business value
- Train members of your team and arranging external training where appropriate
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in sustainability
- MBA in Finance, Marketing or related field (Preferred)
- Should have a valid residency status to work in South Africa
- Proven experience (4+ years) in client handling
- Experience in theRenewable Energy or related field is preferred
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Teamworking and decision-making skills
- Negotiation skills and proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools
