Job Description
My client, a leader in the clearing and freight forwarding industry, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand their client base. If you have a background in the logistics sector, with experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare, this could be the perfect role for you.
As a Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for the following:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the clearing and freight forwarding industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on tailored logistics solutions.
- Work closely with the operational teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, especially in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring competitive terms while maintaining profitability.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company growth strategies.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the clearing and freight forwarding industry.
- Exposure to the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors is highly preferred.
- National Senior Certificate and a Degree in a related field.
- Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and sales growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients/projects.
