Business Development Manager
Job Description
A leading insurer and financial services provider is looking for Business Development Managers to distribute Financial Services products to their small and medium enterprise customer base, within Gauteng and surrounding areas.
The role of the Business Development Manager is to grow the portfolio within the Business, by growing profitability of existing products through strategic marketing and sales initiatives. Develop and maintain partner relationships. Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals and orders with partners and communicate with stakeholders.
o Experience in business development in any financial services, telecoms, insurance or any service industry
o Experience in working with SME's
o Be able to market and sell Grp Life, Funeral and Medical Insurance products
o Traceable references with previous employers and even past clients
o Degree or Diploma, highly numerate, well-spoken (excellent communicator), well-presented, able to engage effortlessly with all types of business owners
o Insurance qualifications - FAIS, RE1, RE5 a distinct advantage
o Be able to travel & live away from home as and when required
o Be comfortable in a high-pressure/ target-driven environment
