This is a full-time, in-office position based in Foreshore, Cape Town. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and engaging UK-based SMEs, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and helping clients access tailored funding solutions. This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong sales instincts and a passion for helping businesses grow.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and engage UK-based SMEs to assess their funding needsPromote trade finance and business loan products tailored to client requirementsManage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through to closingBuild and nurture lasting relationships with prospects and clientsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service deliveryMeet and exceed individual sales targetsMaintain accurate records and pipeline updates using CRM toolsAbout You13 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in financial services or lendingDemonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targetsExcellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailResilient, self-motivated, and results-orientedComfortable with outbound calling and digital sales toolsNice to Have:Experience in trade finance, invoice finance, or working with UK-based SMEsFamiliarity with Salesforce or other CRM platformsPrevious exposure to a UK client base
