Job Description

The Business Analyst will lead our analytical teams and drive strategic initiatives. They will be responsible for overseeing complex projects, aligning business needs with technology solutions, and mentoring a team of business analysts to ensure delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts to ensure high-quality analysis and requirements delivery. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business units to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable requirements. Drive process improvement initiatives through detailed analysis, data-driven insights, and industry best practices. Develop and maintain comprehensive business documentation, including business cases, process maps, and requirements specifications. Facilitate communication between business units, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Establish and enforce business analysis standards, methodologies, and best practices. Provide leadership in change management and ensure user adoption of new solutions. Analyse impact, risks, and dependencies associated with proposed changes. Support the evaluation and selection of technology solutions to meet business needs. Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement processes. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in business analysis and digital transformation.

Work closely with business analysts, developers, and delivery teams. Engage with vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate new application capabilities.

Requirements

Education

Matric - Grade 12 Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP).

Experience

10-15 years of experience in business analysis or related fields. Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing business analysis teams. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects. Proficiency in business analysis tools, project management software, and process modelling
