Job Description

What you'll be responsible for Financial Processing & Reporting

• Accurate processing of monthly financial entries including journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, loans, and payroll-related entries
• Preparation of VAT computations
• Reviewing petty cash claims
• Preparing financial reports and insights to support strategic decision-making
• Identifying opportunities to improve, standardise, or automate financial processes

Balance Sheet Management

• Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations with proper supporting documentation
• Investigating and resolving aged or open recon items

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date BIC reports
• Preparing and distributing monthly income statements
• Responding to income statement queries from the business
• Assisting with cost tracking, analysis, and control

Collaboration & Professional Conduct

• Working closely with finance, sales, and marketing teams
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
• Contributing positively to team culture and collaboration

What we're looking for Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, with cost centre exposure
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Experience with Sage 200 Evolution is essential
• Strong Excel skills
