Job Description

A well-established group of companies, servicing the building industry (residential, industrial, marine, etc), requires the services of a bookkeeper/supplier's clerk to assist the accounts department in the group.

The Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Supplier invoice capturing Suppliers Reconciliations Inter-company invoicing Inter-company Reconciling (Debtors & Creditors) General Office Admin Cash Book Account Allocations

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:

General accounts background or a solid 5 years or more in Creditors / Suppliers role. A Bookkeeping qualification will be a strong advantage Must be computer literate, especially with Excel, and can draw up spreadsheets and use basic formula's Must be able to work on Pastel Must be strong on reconciliations Must have contactable references Must be prepared to work 'standby weekends' on a rotational basis. Intercompany experience will be a strong advantage.
Preference will be given to persons living in the Table View area.

It will be expected that you work two standbys a month, one of which will be in office from 8 to 13h00 on a Saturday and will be expected to answer the company cellphone in case of emergency as we operate a 24/7 365 company. This duty will be assigned on a rotational basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R228000,00 - R240000,00 per year
