Remuneration: R15 000.00 - R20 000.00 dependent on skill set, knowledge, and experience
Purpose Of The Job:
Our client is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper / Creditors Clerk to join the team. This person will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial administration, with a strong focus on creditors processing and basic bookkeeping functions within a busy autobody environment.
Responsibilities:
Full creditors function, including:

• Capturing and processing supplier invoices
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Preparing payments for authorization

Assisting with basic bookkeeping duties:

• Capturing transactions accurately
• Maintaining proper filing and financial records
• Liaising with suppliers regarding queries and discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end processes where required
• Supporting the senior bookkeeper or accountant as needed
• Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years previous experience as a Junior Bookkeeper and/or Creditors Clerk
• Experience within the automotive industry (autobody / panel shop environment advantageous)
• Solid understanding of creditors processes
• Good numerical and administrative skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
