Responsibilities:
Primary Duties
Ensure Preferential Procurement target is reached through a robust strategy
Lead the annual BBBEE audit for Preferential Procurement
Deliver ESD (Enterprise/Supplier Development) target points
Identify compliant ESD Suppliers for the BBBEE committee to interview and review for grants/loans
Use AI tools to improve efficiency and time savings. This will enable leadership to make enhanced decisions.
Ensure all paperwork, approval documents, supplier agreements, quotes, invoices are in place
Conduct annual audits at grant/loan recipients
Manage the BBBEE fleet vehicles. Ensure all contracts are signed and filed
Manage the BBBEE SharePoint
Participate and/or lead projects with the AITF, Tasez , AIDC and Incubatees at the incubation centre
Ensure tri-party agreements are in place with the AIDC and Tier1 suppliers
Secondary Duties
Support the Strategy Team with various ad hoc projects for example benchmark studies, South Africa specific training.
Support the Strategy Team with actions to improve supplier relationships
Continuously monitor and report on the regional and global geopolitical climate and automotive news
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Supply chain management, Procurement, Business administration, Law)
Specialized certification (BBBEE compliance training, Compliance & Governance courses (South African context)
Additional skills (Data analysis, reporting. Understanding of Preferential Procurement and Enterprise Development frameworks)
