Assistant Manager - Finance Operations (Relocation Opportunity: Mauritius)

. As

Assistant Manager - Finance Operations

, you'll support senior leadership in managing global reconciliations, implementing automation initiatives, and driving process improvements across the finance function. You'll gain exposure to complex, multi-entity operations while developing leadership and project management skills within a fast-growing global business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Control

Oversee daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple entities to ensure accuracy and compliance with policy. Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and financial variances, providing insights to management. Support month-end close processes, ensuring completeness, timeliness, and integrity of financial data. Maintain strong internal controls and assist in audit preparation and compliance reviews.

Process Improvement & Automation

Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation across the finance operations environment. Collaborate with the systems and technology teams to enhance reconciliation tools and workflows. Participate in automation and transformation projects (e.g., RPA, ERP upgrades).

Leadership & Collaboration

Supervise and support junior analysts, providing technical guidance and training. Work closely with global finance teams to ensure consistent processes and reporting standards. Present updates on performance metrics and project progress to senior management.

Requirements

Qualified accountant (CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA) with

1-3 years post-articles experience

. Background in

fintech, shared services, or financial operations

. Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of reconciliations and control frameworks. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP) advantageous. Experience with complex reconciliations advantageous. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and Excel skills. Confident communicator with a proactive, team-oriented approach. Willingness to

relocate to Mauritius

(relocation and visa assistance provided).
