Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance operations team of 15-20 staff, fostering accountability, growth, and technical excellence. Own and optimise reconciliation processes across multiple entities; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and resolution of variances. Define and execute strategic initiatives for automation, process re-engineering, and scalability. Oversee audit preparation and act as the primary point of contact for auditors and senior stakeholders. Drive delivery of team OKRs, ensuring alignment with broader finance and business objectives. Resolve complex financial and operational escalations while maintaining effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Minimum 12 years' experience in financial operations or accounting, including 3-5 years in leadership roles managing large teams. Strong background in

fintech, payments, or financial services

industries. Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or CA(SA)) required. Proven experience with

complex reconciliations

, automation, and system implementation projects. Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders. Willingness to relocate to

Mauritius

(visa support provided).
