Key Responsibilities

• You'll be accountable for managing the full R2R (Record-to-Report) lifecycle, ensuring month-end processes are completed with precision and on schedule, while delivering meaningful analysis on financial trends.
• The role requires close coordination with country-specific Financial Controllers on budgeting, forecasting, and statutory financial statements, ensuring alignment with local accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• You will also oversee audit activities, conduct balance sheet reviews, and lead efforts to refine and enhance financial processes.
• As a regional finance expert, you'll support leadership decisions, provide operational finance insight, and foster collaboration across teams-all while mentoring team members and nurturing strong internal relationships.
• Key priorities include maintaining robust processes, timely and precise reporting-both internal and statutory-strong control frameworks, and contributing to broader strategic goals and key initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

• We're seeking a seasoned and qualified finance expert with hands-on experience managing complex R2R operations and external reporting.
• The ideal candidate will be adept at working across different regions, navigating varying regulatory landscapes, and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Key strengths should include strong analytical thinking, a proactive approach to governance and compliance, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Previous involvement in audits, familiarity with local GAAP, and leadership or mentoring experience will be highly advantageous.
• CA(SA) qualification
• Experience working in a large matrix organisation
• Ideally also come from a subscription-based organisation
• Audit and statutory accounting experience required
• Strong stakeholder development
• Self-starter
