Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an Assistant Lodge Manager for our client, a prestigious 5-star lodge located in the Eastern Cape on the outskirts of Gqeberha/PE. Job Summary:
As the Assistant Lodge Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the lodge and delivering exceptional service to guests. You will support the Lodge Manager, assist with implementing and monitoring policies and standards, and take accountability for lodge functions when the Lodge Manager is unavailable. Additionally, you will provide on-the-job training to lodge staff and ensure that all administrative duties are completed in line with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Lodge Manager with the efficient operation of the lodge and the delivery of exceptional service to guests.
Stand in for the Lodge Manager when necessary.
Support Senior Lodge Management in achieving their goals and objectives.
Implement and monitor policies, processes, and standards to ensure effective service delivery.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly administrative duties related to lodge operations.
Provide on-the-job training to lodge staff. Requirements:
Qualification in Hotel Management Diploma/Certificate or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of prior working experience in guest relations at a 5-star Lodge/Hotel.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Good working knowledge of GAAP, Opera, and MS Excel (Intermediate level).
Valid driver's license.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Guest Relations, F&B, Housekeeping, and Front Office operations.
