Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant Manager to lead and oversee the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, with the ability to manage various tasks efficiently, including overseeing the cleanliness of public areas, guest rooms, venues, and laundry services. The role requires leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

:

Supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and venues, are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. Train and develop housekeeping team members to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and to the required standard. Ensure proper maintenance of laundry operations, including organising the washing, drying, and ironing of linens and uniforms. Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and venues to ensure adherence to cleanliness and safety standards. Manage inventory and order cleaning supplies and laundry products as needed. Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate with other departments, including front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operation of housekeeping services. Ensure that all housekeeping staff are following company policies and safety procedures. Provide leadership in maintaining a positive and productive team environment.

Qualifications

:

Proven experience in housekeeping or hospitality management, with previous supervisory experience preferred. Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
