Job Description


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Facilitate the review of the current KM strategy
  • Develop knowledge management audit plan for internal use within the department.
  • Collate information and incorporate inputs received from staff and feedback in revised draft strategy for recommendation and approval.
  • Solicit inputs for enhancement of Knowledge harvesting tools templates, exit interviews (knowledge retention and transfer), case study documentation, after action reviews and blogging through scenarios for recommendation & approval.
  • Facilitate and conduct training of KM Champions and liaising with relevant stakeholders on KM related activities.
  • Facilitate appointment and any changes with regard to KM Champions
  • Provide support to the designated KM champions in administering the KM tools
  • Facilitate development of KM awareness through the use of materials e.g. (promotions, brochures and presentations)
  • Disseminate information about the organization's knowledge sharing program to the DSI community maintaining communications on knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Facilitate orientation / inductions on knowledge management
  • Identify risk and plans to address them
  • Develop procedure regarding the KM and monitor the implementation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • National Diploma NQF 6 in Information Management or Knowledge Management
  • Minimum 2 years experience within Knowledge Management
