Role Overview

As our Assistant Chef and Food & Beverage Manager, you will take charge of food service operations, ensuring that our guests enjoy delicious, well-prepared meals. From innovative menu planning to managing kitchen staff and stock control, your leadership will be key to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Menu Planning and Innovation: Design and maintain well-balanced, tasty menus, including creative options for events and special occasions. Portion Control: Ensure accurate portioning to maintain consistency, minimize waste, and control food costs. Stock Management and Purchasing: Oversee stock control, monitor supplies, place orders, and ensure proper stock rotation. Staff Supervision: Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring food is prepared and served on time for all meals. Event Coordination: Develop exciting and unique menus for special events and group bookings. Meal Preparation and Service: Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction. Hygiene and Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
Requirements

Proven experience as a chef or food and beverage manager, with strong kitchen management skills. Ability to plan and execute innovative menus for daily meals and special events. Strong knowledge of portion control and stock management. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet meal service deadlines. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Guest-oriented with a passion for hospitality and delivering great meals.
