Role Overview

As our Assistant Chef and Food & Beverage Manager, you will take charge of food service operations, ensuring that our guests enjoy delicious, well-prepared meals. From innovative menu planning to managing kitchen staff and stock control, your leadership will be key to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Planning and Innovation: Design and maintain well-balanced, tasty menus, including creative options for events and special occasions.

  • Portion Control: Ensure accurate portioning to maintain consistency, minimize waste, and control food costs.
/p
p
  • Stock Management and Purchasing: Oversee stock control, monitor supplies, place orders, and ensure proper stock rotation.
/p
p
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring food is prepared and served on time for all meals.
/p
p
  • Event Coordination: Develop exciting and unique menus for special events and group bookings.
/p
p
  • Meal Preparation and Service: Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction.

  • Hygiene and Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef or food and beverage manager, with strong kitchen management skills.
/p

  • Ability to plan and execute innovative menus for daily meals and special events.
/p

  • Strong knowledge of portion control and stock management.
/p

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
/p

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet meal service deadlines.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
