Key Responsibilities:
Weekly planning for setups and breakdown of events.
Regular stock take of operational equipment (OE).
Coordinate staff and assign tasks to casuals on duty.
Conduct pre- and post-event briefings.
Ensure events run smoothly based on Food Safety (F.S) requirements.
Ensure banquet team members understand expectations and the entire function.
Maintain high food standards.
Hire and regularly train casual staff.
Supervise the team to work efficiently.
Ensure service standards are maintained by the team, including beverage and food service.
Ensure all guests are satisfied with their experience.
Confidently liaise with guests.
Be flexible and able to handle last-minute requests and problems.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in banquet management.
Assertive and a problem solver.
