Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
BCom degree, accounting diploma, or equivalent qualification
Minimum of three years' commercial accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting requirements
Strong communication skills
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, trial balances, and bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and daily data captures
Develop cash flow forecasts and analyse revenue and expenditure trends
Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely submission of statutory returns
Produce and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
Monitor payroll processes, prepare wage summaries, and related reports
Enforce compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and high standards of financial hygiene
Provide ad hoc financial support and liaise with management and other departments
