RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER (FIXED TERM CONTRACT) for a large concern. Position based on the East London Outskirts, Eastern Cape.
MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!
JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
BTech or ND or Beng Tech (Civil) Qualification.
Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration with ECSA.
Labour-Intensive Construction unit standard at NQF Level 5.
Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
4+ years of post-graduate site experience. Successfully executed at least (1) bridge construction
projects in a lead / site representative capacity.
Support the Engineers Representative with LIC bridge supervision and contract administration tasks.
Monitor workmanship, quality and quantities; maintain daily site diaries and measurement records.
Assist with reviewing drawings, method statements and HSE documentation.
Facilitate stakeholder liaison consistent with LIC methods.
