What you'll be doing:

• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate reconciliations.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process and support audits.
• Keep the Fixed Asset Register up to date.
• Oversee the cashbook and payment processes.
• Reconcile intercompany loans and transactions.
• Handle VAT & PAYE reconciliations.
• Compile and present monthly financial reports to management.
• Improve and document business processes and internal controls.
• Contribute to the evolution of accounting systems and best practices.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum BCom Degree (or similar accounting qualification).
• Completed articles with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Caseware (essential).
• Experience with SAGE (especially SAGE Intacc) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with accounting software.
• A team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
