As the Accountant, your duties include the following:
Maintain accurate financial records up to trial balance
Support monthly management reporting
Reconcile EMP201 and EMP501 submissions against payroll reports
Process staff-related expenses, including loans, repayments, and deductions, with accuracy
Manage monthly recurring invoices, journals, and key provisions
Oversee intercompany debtors and creditors
Ensure correct offsets and balanced loan accounts
Load, verify, and process bi-weekly payment runs and salary payments
Handle credit card processes end-to-end and manage cashflow across accounts
Prepare and submit VAT201, EMP201, and support EMP501 submissions
Assist with dividend tax submissions and ensure timely payments
Compile monthly reporting packs and address business unit queries timeously
Support audit preparation, manage audit queries, and maintain accurate audit files
Apply solid understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and relevant tax legislation in daily tasks
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accountant
Experience handling intercompany transactions
Exposure to VAT Submissions, payroll reconciliations, and audit processes
Qualification:
Completed SAIPA qualifications
Degree in Accounting or Finance
