Vacancy: TSU PROTECTION SERVICES - RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - GAUTENG

Job Purpose:




Ensure that our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees for vacant positions, whilst growing a strong talent pipeline, using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Establish us as an employer of choice by ensuring a great candidate experience.


Duties:




Ensure TSU attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Regularly meet with Department Managers to plan and be proactive in identify future hiring needs. Review the job description aligned to the vacancy, to ensure that it is still up to date.

Advice the HR Manager of any discrepancies noted in job descriptions, based on recruitment requirements when a recruitment request has been received or as a result of information gathered during an exit interview.

Create ideal employee personas in order to drive improved selection criteria to address the unique needs of each job postings.

Review the employee personas before designing the job add and agree with the Department Manager the most appropriate persona to align the recruitment advertisement to.

Design appropriate Recruitment advertising, to target the desired talent, whilst enhancing our brand awareness and equity.

Evaluate and decide on the most appropriate job boards and social media platforms to reach the target audience that will yield the best candidates.

Monitor success of job postings (views & applications)

Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media, and employee referrals.

Set up recruitment pipeline, including initial screening questions and requirements as well as the automated email responses.

Review candidate CV's & other documents as part of the application requirements.

Move applications in the recruitment pipeline. Conducted interviews in-person or via TEAMS (record all interviews)

Assessing candidates' relevant knowledge, experience, skills, soft skills, and aptitudes to a good fit for the role, our client's culture and requirements and the division in our company. Conduct verifications on the candidates that passed the first phase of assessment.

Compile a candidate profile report on the top 5 candidates.

Submit this shortlist and profiles to relevant Department Manager and the GM/COO of the Division.

Candidate Relationship Management:




Candidates contact person during the recruitment process (pre-boarding & onboarding), ensuring a positive candidate experience and build positive candidate relationships.

Promote company's reputation as an "employer of choice."

Manage the "Pre-boarding" and "On-boarding" process ensuring a great employee experience and engagement. Conduct candidate satisfaction survey after each recruitment drive, in order to ensure continuous improvement of the various recruitment journey touchpoints and to provide feedback for the HR monthly report.

Compilation of annual recruitment interventions.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:




A good understanding on how to use social media platforms, their respective participants and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios to attract the best candidates.

Ability to work well under pressure, with minimum supervision.

Attendance/Punctuality, ensuring consistent reliability.

Career guidance and coaching experience.

Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills including fluency English with excellent grammar skills.

Excellent multitasking skills.

Exit interview experience and reporting.

Experience in developing role specific employee personas.

Good influencing skills.

Great planning, organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.

Great reporting skills, on project progress.

Firsthand experience with various selection processes (in-person interviewing, video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.) Firsthand experience with recruiting software, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate management systems (CMS)

Mature (High) EIQ (emotional intelligence quefrency)

Must be quality focused and have excellent critical thinking and analytical thinking skills.

Proficient in Microsoft office (MS Office, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint).

Proven work experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the Private Security Industry.

Initiative-taker with a strong work ethic.

Solid ability to conduct diverse types of interviews (structured, competency and behavioral based)

Strong decision-making skills.

Strong leadership and collaboration abilities - Team player.

Well-developed facilitation skills.

Well-developed interpersonal and conflict management skills.

Remuneration:
