Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Workshop Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various power tools, from breakers to sanders. The role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of equipment. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Managing tool repair and maintenance to guarantee high-quality service and technical support
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in small plant equipment and power tools
Receiving and processing tools for repair, including generating job cards and tracking progress
Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services
Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
Knowledge of power tools and petrol engines
Welding and spray painting are advantages
Good time management skills
Computer literate
Can work independently
Valid driver's license
