Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled Workshop Technician to join our dynamic team specializing in 4x4 fitment and minor servicing. This role involves both mechanical and 12V electrical work--installing aftermarket 4WD accessories, performing light vehicle servicing, and fitting electrical systems such as dual battery setups, auxiliary lighting, and in-car entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

Fitment of 4x4 accessories: bull bars, tow bars, roof racks, winches, suspension upgrades, snorkels, long-range fuel tanks, and more. Installation and wiring of 12V electrical systems, including: Dual battery systems (DC-DC chargers, isolators, lithium setups) Driving lights, work lights, and light bars UHF radios and antennas Power sockets, USB outlets, and solar inputs Fridge wiring and auxiliary power setups Sound systems and reverse cameras Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and auto-electrical issues. Conduct minor servicing: oil changes, brake pads, filters, etc. Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Maintain workshop tools, cleanliness, and inventory. Communicate effectively with team members and, when needed, directly with customers. Record and report completed work accurately.
Requirements:

Proven experience in 4x4 fitment, automotive servicing, and 12V electrical installation. Strong understanding of automotive wiring, fuse boxes, relays, and circuit protection. Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and install instructions. Hands-on experience with brands such as Redarc, Enerdrive, ARB, Ironman, and similar. Solid mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills. Valid driver's license. Physically capable of performing workshop tasks safely and efficiently.
