Job Description
We are seeking a
Skilled Signage Workshop Technician
to join our team in a hands-on role involving the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom signage. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a range of materials includingPerspex, aluminium, foamboard
, and must be capable oflight welding
,lighting installations
, andreading technical plans
.Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble signage using materials such as
Perspex, aluminium, foamboard
, etc. Performlight welding
where required for structural support. Installsignage lighting
, includingLED modules, strips, and backlighting systems
. Interpret and followdesign plans, layout drawings, and measurements
accurately. Use basichand and power tools
to build, modify, and mount signage. Assist withon-site installations
when required. Ensure all work is completedsafely
,neatly
, and to a high-quality standard. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Maintain a clean and organised workspace.Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in signage fabrication or a similar workshop/handyman environment. Skilled in working with
signage materials
(Perspex, aluminium, foamboard). Basiclight welding
ability. Experience withsignage lighting systems
(LED modules, strips, etc.). Ability toread and interpret plans and measurements
. Strongcommunication skills
and a team player attitude. Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks. Strongwork ethic
and attention to detail.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R6500,00 - R8500,00 per month
Experience:
Signage Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
