You will combine your

, playing a key role in setting up our new workshop facility while ensuring all designs and builds meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical builds for
cart restoration, custom modifications, and product development
.
Perform
CAD part design (Fusion 360 essential)
for fabrication and assembly.
Design and build complex mechanical and electrical systems, including
wiring harnesses and circuit fault finding
.
Conduct welding, fitting, wiring, and mechanical assembly to high-quality standards.
Assist management in setting up workshop layouts, equipment, tools, and operational processes.
Source materials, parts, tools, and equipment from suppliers efficiently.
Plan and execute complex projects with realistic timelines and clear milestones.
Requirements
Mechanical and electrical engineering technician qualification, trade test, or equivalent experience
.
Strong
CAD design and fabrication
background (Fusion 360 proficiency essential).
Proficiency in welding, mechanical fitting, and electrical wiring.
Experience in the
automotive field highly advantageous
.
Ability to problem-solve deeply and deliver practical, optimised solutions.
Fine attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision.
Resourceful and self-driven with strong project planning skills.
Comfortable with both
desk-based design work and hands-on workshop execution
