Receive, inspect, and record incoming mechanical and irrigation supplies.
Issue parts and tools to workshop and field staff as per request or job card.
Maintain accurate inventory records of all stock using a manual or computerised system.
Monitor stock levels and notify the manager of low levels or reorder needs.
Organise storage of parts and materials in an orderly, accessible layout.
Conduct regular stock counts and participate in audits.
Liaise with suppliers and delivery personnel to ensure correct and timely stock delivery.
Ensure the security and cleanliness of the storeroom and outside storage areas.
Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock items.
Maintain records of tools and equipment issued for irrigation and mechanical work.
Support emergency repair requests by providing fast and accurate access to parts.
Requirements
Grade 12
At least 2 years' experience in a workshop environment
Knowledge of mechanical and irrigation parts (pipes, pumps, valves)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Computer literate
Honest, reliable and detail-oriented
Own transport and valid driver's license.
