Stefanutti Stocks Africa is looking for an enthusiastic and specialized

Workshop Buyer

to join our team. The successful candidate will provide procurement support for plant, workshop and formwork. The candidate will report to the Plant Director and will be based at

Head Office and frequent travelling to Zambia.

The best candidate will be detailed orientated and an organized team player with demonstrated delivery in high pressure situations; is able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Key performance areas are as follows:


Procurement for spares from reliable sources Tracking of spares deliveries to site Cost Savings Reports General tasks related to procurement

Minimum Requirements

At least 3-5 years' experience in procurement within the construction workshop industry. Minimum Grade 12; preferably a tertiary qualification, preferably in Supply Chain Management or similar field. Knowledge of project and construction management will be an advantage. Proficient in MS Office. Valid South African driver's license with own transport is required

Knowledge

Knowledge of B-BBEE Preferential Procurement. Excellent knowledge and understanding of earthmoving spares. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills - ability to influence Numerical orientation Planning and problem-solving skills Conflict management Risk planning & management Sets high standards of performance for self and others
