Job Advert Summary
To ensure that assistance is provided to the Instrumentation personnel within the section in ensuring that jobs are carried out effectively and by assuring that equipment and work areas are kept in a safe and good condition according to the required Rand Water Standards.
Minimum Requirements
o Grade 12 or Equivalent technical knowledge o1 year work experience as an Artisan Assistant within the instrumentation environment o A valid driver's license with the ability to pass Rand Water's K53 driver test
Primary Duties
o Assist Artisans / Technicians with maintenance tasks and inspections. o Carrying out of basic maintenance on instrumentation equipment o Digging of trenches and pulling of cables o To ensure that all required defects and job cards are completed and handed in timeously o Assist with driver's duties on an ad-hoc basis o Assist with assets verification T& P balancing o Carrying out tasks as and when required by the sectional supervisors

o Basic Computer skills o Safe working principles
