Workshop Assistant - Compressor Company (Full-Time | Strand, Western Cape)
We're looking for a reliable and technically minded
Workshop Assistant
to join our team! You'll support our lead compressor technician withservicing, repairs, breakdowns, and installations
of industrial screw & piston compressors.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the technician with day-to-day service, repair, and installation work Help with fault-finding and basic mechanical tasks Handle tools, parts, and workshop upkeep Join on-site breakdowns and installations as required Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment
Requirements:
Valid driver's licence
Prior technical or mechanical experience preferred
Physically fit and able to work in hands-on environments Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Punctual, responsible, and safety-focused Preferred Languages: English/AfrikaansJob Type: Full-time
Pay: R4000,00 - R6000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
