MAIN PURPOSE


To configure, manage, develop and maintain our Workforce Management tools through integration and collaboration with Head Office and Logistics stakeholders.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Integrate with business representatives to understand new business requirements and develop Business Requirement Specifications with the outside vendor.
  • Design and deliver an easy-to-use tool that enables better service and increases profitability.
  • Give input into and assist with design and documentation of system specifications.
  • Develop process and systems test plans as per business specification.
  • Create and establish test environment and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide input into policies, process, and procedures for the Workforce management system.
  • Provide input into the system implementation for enhancements and new releases.
  • Build changes to the Workforce business model and conduct system testing.
  • Monitor outputs of interfaces, investigate, and communicate findings on error logs and influence resolutions.
  • Provide procedural support, respond to logged incidents and facilitate resolutions.
  • Monitor software releases and documentation releases, ensuring that all latest copies are issued, and version control is in place.
  • Provide input into service standards with external suppliers SLAxe2x80x99s and ensure that business requirements are met according to SLAxe2x80x99s.
  • Keep up to date with current and new business developments and initiatives, analyse and assess the impact of these on the Supply chain processes and make

recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • To ensure effective reporting on Workforce management KPIxe2x80x99s to all stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure that all Time and Attendance hardware is commissioned properly and maintained across all sites.
  • Manage the Integration and change impacts of/ between peer systems e.g. People Soft, Triceps, Oracle.
  • Agree and build site specific model requirements for new initiatives, by interacting with key stakeholders and project team members.
  • Provide senior management with performance updates as and when requested.
  • Manage the Workforce management contracts including monitoring licenses and upgrades.


Minimum requirements

  • Advanced computer literacy (Programming language xe2x80x93 Microsoft SQL, excel, reporting, system knowledge xe2x80x93 workbench, database, web)
  • Ability to manage the Workforce management contracts, including monitoring licenses and upgrades.

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS



What theoretical knowledge (e.g., degree / diploma) does the job require?
  • Minimum 3-Year Diploma in Supply Chain/Business Management
  • Degree in Business/Project Management will be an advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills



What experience (e.g., previous exposure) does the job require?
  • 5 yearsxe2x80x99 Management experience
  • 8 yearsxe2x80x99 General Retail/Supply chain experience



What are the operational requirements of the job?

Ability to work flexible hours in line with business requirements, as the need arises.
