Key Accountabilities and requirements
We are seeking a
skilled and experienced Wood Factory Supervisor
to take charge of our woodworking facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on machine expertise, and proven leadership ability. If you're ready to lead from the front and ensure top-quality production, this is the role for you!Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily factory operations Supervise and coordinate production teams and workflow Set up and operate woodworking machinery with precision Sharpen and maintain
TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) tooling
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all machinery, including: Moulders, Lathes, Spindles, Routers, Spray Shop equipment, Lamination tools, and more Ensure strict stock control and inventory accuracy Maintain high safety and quality standards across the workshopMinimum Requirements:
Previous supervisory or production management experience is essential
Expert knowledge of woodworking machines and tooling Ability toset machines and sharpen TCT tooling
Excellent mechanical aptitude with full maintenance capabilities Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environmentMatric certificate required
Valid Code 8 driver's license
(Forklift license is an advantage) Experience with stock control and workshop safety practicesJob Type: Full-time
