A supervisory role within a welding or fabrication environment.

Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings
Liaising with Production teams
Overseeing the work of welders, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow
Understanding welding processes, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and troubleshooting welding issues.
Participation in the fabrication of metal components including welding, cutting and shaping
Usage of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and heavy machinery
General tasks in department
Adherence to safety protocols and regulations, including PPE
Cleaning pressure vessel equipment

Requirements

Matric
Own transport
Understanding welding processes
interpreting blueprints, technical drawings
troubleshooting welding issues.
Able to work long hours and under pressure
High energy levels and self-motivated
Able to follow instructions
Reliable transport
Good communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Semi - skilled boilermaker.
